Lisa Green - New York NY

Lisa & Ravi met back in 1992 when Lisa was a bartender and a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Ravi was an accountant at Shearson Lehman . After meeting in 'Lisa's bar' , we became good friends and started a small business , Lisa would design the clothes and we would make and sell them at outdoor markets in Manhattan . We started out with fleece turtlenecks , zippered hoodies and long coats all with contrast outside stitching which was our signature look. A few years later, we started beebop & wally named after our 2 little kittys (who have since passed on and we now have Lilybelle , Louie and Lucy ). We have since expanded the line to include dresses , skirts , jackets and coats in wools and cottons . All styles inspired by Lisa's favorite pastime ... thrift shopping . we have a workspace in Soho , NYC where we design and create everything from start to finish.
